What information I collect

I collect information that you provide to me when contacting me via email or filling out the online contact form. Information collected may be name, email address, and details relating to your research request or research project, or any other details you choose to provide me with.

Why I collect information

I collect personal information to reply to your messages, to contact and invoice you, to perform research for you, and to receive payments. I may contact you to reply to your messages, to obtain and provide information regarding a research project, and to collect fees owed. I do not sell your information. I will disclose personal information if I am ever required to do so by law.

How your information is stored

My website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. Wix.com’s privacy policy is available here.

Copies of emails and messages, invoices, research projects and client and potential client contact information (as provided by the client or potential client) may also be stored on paper and/or on my computer.

Since payments are processed via third party vendors, such as Interac e-transfer and PayPal, I do not have access to, collect or maintain credit card or bank account information.

Third Parties

My blog links to websites of other organizations from time to time. I am not responsible for their content or privacy policies. I use Google Analytics to provide anonymized data on how this website is being used.

I reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon posting on the website. Your use of the website after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
