Personal Genome Sequencing
Updated: May 31, 2021
I just listened to a fascinating discussion on CBC Radio: The Current on personal genome sequencing. Although we have become used to sending our DNA samples south of the border, it was good to hear that there is DNA research happening in Canada as well. The organizers of the Personal Genome Project Canada discussed their project, and where they see the industry headed in the future. Although I am not personally interested in knowing about my health predictions based on DNA, and only use DNA for genealogical purposes, for those who are interested in what their genome might have to say about their health, it is worth a listen.
You can listen to the interview here starting at about the 22 minute mark.
